– 05/29/11 – Two Records Continue To Shine On Europe Charts For David –

Sunday, May 29th, 2011

“Two of David’s records continue to hold positions into the week of May 29, 2911 on the  Hotdisk Top 40 Chart in Europe:  “Old Enough To Be Somebody’s Hero” moves up to #11 (from #12) and “I Wish I Had Someone To Love Me” maintains at #38 after after almost 3 months.  Both of these recordings are available for sale  from the CD –  ”DAVID WOOD – Here & Now” and are available at CD Baby:  http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/DAVIDWOOD1   In addition to these two,  there have been two other songs off of this CD which held positions on this European chart from the CD, “DAVID WOOD – Here & Now” -  David’s debut single, “Simple Things” and “Eighteen Wheels.”    Certainly a respectable showing for David on his first CD.

—-”Old Enough To Be Somebody’s Hero” Debuts At #16 In Europe

Sunday, May 15th, 2011

“Old Enough To Be Somebody’s Hero” debuts at #16 on the Hotdisk Top 40 Country Chart in Europe.  This ties “I Wish I Had Someone To Love Me” as David’s top debut in Europe.  And – “Someone To Love Me” is STILL on the chart at #33 giving him the distinction of having two records on the chart in Europe at the same time.  The last time that happened was with his “Waltz Across Texas.”   One thing is clear – David’s got a home and fans in Europe !

“Old Enough To Be Somebody’s Hero” – Reviewed

Monday, May 2nd, 2011

“DAVID WOOD
“David’s singing career began only a few years ago but he is certainly making up for lost time. His only regret is not doing this sooner. His long musical career has involved management and promotion but we are all delighted that he’s decided to step out front on his own and give the world a taste of some pure to the bone country music. He enjoyed a Top 5 hit with his last song but this time out of the blocks he tackles “Old Enough To Be Somebody’s Hero” and this one is also set to do well.”
